How much data do I need?
Data is playing an increasingly important part of our lives, however how much data do you need on your broadband or mobile phone service to cater for your needs? The below provides a guide as to the approximate download sizes of some common items downloaded of the internet.

Bendigo Telco uses the Optus 4G and 5G network for our mobile plans. The Optus network is expansive and covers 98.5% of all Australians. To check for certain, explore the Optus coverage map here.

Absolutely! The majority of our customers transfer their existing numbers to us. All you need to do is provide your number, personal details, and account number with your current carrier and we’ll do the rest.
Please do not cancel your current service before you transfer your number, as this will make it impossible to move the number to us.

All our plans are SIM-only, which means that we will provide a SIM card and mobile service, without a phone. By bringing your own phone, you only have to pay for the data, calls, and texts.
SIM-only plans are also usually post-paid, as we are. This means you get billed at the beginning of the following month for your usage as part of your plan. SIM-only plans are usually better value and more flexible than other options.

We have both standard and eSIMs available on all our plans. Just let us know you require an eSIM and we’ll get it rolling!

All our plans are SIM-only and post paid. You will be charged for your usage within your plan at the beginning of the following month. You will receive an invoice via email or post, and can pay it online via your SmartCentre login, BPAY, direct debit, or over the phone. You can also pay in person at our CX Centre or at any Bendigo Bank branch.
